The number of hospitalizations is on the rise, with 25,908 hospitalized patients, or 173 new patients in 24 hours.

Resuscitations are also on the rise, with 2,912 patients in intensive care, 36 more than the day before. 

More than 72,000 dead since the start of the epidemic

With 649 new deaths recorded on Friday, 72,647 people have died since the start of the epidemic.

While the government does not rule out a third confinement, the epidemic circulation remains strong, with 23,292 new cases confirmed in 24 hours.

About 20,000 new cases have been recorded every day since the start of the year, far from the 5,000 hoped for in mid-December by the executive.
