The federal government fears a further radicalization of the "lateral thinker" scene.

This emerges from the response of the Federal Ministry of the Interior to a request from the Greens, which the editorial network Germany reports on.

"Since the beginning of the Corona crisis, right-wing extremists have been actively trying to take advantage of the displeasure among demonstration participants from the esoteric or conspiracy-ideological milieu about the measures to protect against infection and about restrictions on public and economic life," it says.

It cannot be ruled out that esotericists and conspiracy ideologues may adopt radical ideas.

France will require travelers to carry out Corona PCR tests from Sunday

France requires travelers from other EU countries to submit a negative Corona-PCR test from Sunday.

This type of test must have been taken within 72 hours of departure, as the office of President Emmanuel Macron announced on Friday night.

Macron informed his EU colleagues about the new regulation at the video summit the evening before.

According to the information, the obligation to perform the PCR test applies to all trips to France that are not "essential".

Exceptions apply to commuters who work in France but do not live there.

Travelers from EU countries had to show a negative test for the coronavirus when entering France.

However, it did not necessarily have to be a PCR test.

During these tests, a smear is examined in the laboratory.

PCR tests are more reliable than so-called antigen tests, which do not require laboratory analysis and whose results are available after ten to 30 minutes.

For travelers from non-EU countries, France has been requiring a negative PCR test since last weekend.
