A school closed in Cahors after several cases of Covid-19

Places of contamination by the coronavirus, schools are monitored and scrutinized.

Thursday evening, the Lot prefecture announced the closure of the Marthe Durand nursery and elementary school in Cahors after the discovery of the seven positive cases for Covid.

All the people who test positive are National Education staff.

The six school classes closed

As a precautionary measure, the prefect of Lot, in conjunction with the departmental director of the ARS, and the academic director of the national education services, decided to temporarily suspend the reception of students from the school, to from Friday.

The six classes of the school, which bring together 117 students, are closed until Monday, February 1.
