[Explanation] Hong Kong is a globalized city integrating east and west, where immigrants from all over the world gather, which has created a rich and diverse food culture.

Tea is an important way of life for Hong Kong people.

Many Hong Kong people start their day with a cup of morning tea.

Hong Kong people are actually a relatively happy place.

Its early teahouses had four or five teas to choose from, because in China (Mainland), for example, a place may only have one tea, which is the local tea, so Hong Kong (people) usually go to the teahouse to drink Yes, "one cup two pieces" or something.

After the return of 1997 (Hong Kong), many old restaurants sold the entire restaurant, and then a lot of old Pu'er tea was produced at that time, which promoted the culture of Pu'er.

[Explanation] Unlike ordinary tea houses, this tea house in Sheung Wan specializes in aged Pu'er and rock tea. It is one of the few pure Chinese tea houses in Hong Kong.

In 2014, Liu Zhenjun, the owner of the tea room, came to Hong Kong with Jun porcelain from his hometown in Henan and the tea culture he has always loved.

Three years later, she took over the tea room from a friend and ran it herself.

Out of her love for Feng Zikai, the literary and artistic master, she named the tea room the former residence of Feng Zikai-Yuanyuantang.

Warming pot, throwing tea, brewing, making soup, dividing cups, serving tea... Ancient tea and boiling water meet in the old purple sand pot, the color and the fragrance rise, and the tea taste rises.

Although there are good tea offerings, Liu Zhenjun said frankly that in Hong Kong, where every inch of land is rich in money, people seem to have become accustomed to the fast-paced life, and few people are willing to spend time sitting down and sipping a cup of tea.

Because Hong Kong people, everyone is very busy, very busy, every day has no time, very impatient, maybe they drink a cup of drink, or a lot of cola coffee.

Because tea can bring closer the relationship between people, tea is used to meet friends and cultivate oneself with tea.

For example, if they are tired, or upset, or too tired, a place where they can rest, relax their minds, and stabilize their minds and bodies.

[Explanation] In Liu Zhenjun's view, tea culture originated in China and flourished in China, but it should belong to the world.

Seeing the business downturn, she determined to let more people understand and fall in love with Chinese tea.

So she organized regular tea tasting classes and tea art classes in the tea room, and recruited students interested in learning about Chinese tea culture through social platforms with a low threshold.

After several months of enrollment, the number of people who come to study art has expanded from "post-80s" to "post-90s" or even "post-00s."

But for Liu Zhenjun from the mainland, to teach smoothly, language problems have become a difficulty that has to be faced.

When I first came to Hong Kong, I was speaking the vernacular every day, but it was actually very awkward.

I used to do it, but I was very shy and didn't dare to talk about it, but when I came to Hong Kong, I had to talk about it. So sometimes when I am in a hurry, I will talk about it wrong, so it is not so accurate, and then others will laugh You then teach you how to speak, but it is difficult, and it is still inaccurate.

[Explanation] The effort pays off. After two years of hard work, the tea room will be on the right track. However, a "revision storm" in 2019 has caused the small shop's business to fall back to the bottom.

Liu Zhenjun recalled that the underworld forces were rampant at that time, and the mainland tea customers who knew her did not even dare to speak on the street. Only when they came to the tea room did they dare to communicate with each other in Mandarin, which made Liu Zhenjun angry and helpless.

What made her most incomprehensible was that her sometimes righteous remarks and background in the Mainland caused this tea room to be implicated.

Because after all, at that time (the black storm) was actually quite serious, and it might have been beaten for no reason. Isn't that scary?

They will be beaten if they speak Mandarin, and then they seem to dare not speak much in Central.

Because they also know that I am from China (Mainland), there may be some (influence) no matter what.

[Explanation] Nowadays, although society has gone from chaos to governance, the epidemic continues to repeat, and Liu Zhenjun's tea room is still in the cold.

But she didn't want to give up, hoping to keep doing this meaningful career.

[Concurrent] Liu Zhenjun, a tea artist from the mainland of Hong Kong

I have been insisting, I have been investing, and I don't want to give up so easily.

I hope there will be no more epidemics and no more demonstrations. I just hope that Hong Kong will get better.
