It was recovered after about 30 minutes and there is no evidence that it was used, so the prefectural police are trying to prevent recurrence.

According to the Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters, at around 10 am on the 20th, when a male police officer in his 30s belonging to the 3rd riot police used a private room toilet at a convenience store in Kita-ku, Osaka, a pistol with bullets and handcuffs were released. I left the store with the tied belt hanging on the wall hook.



At that time, the police officer was guarding the nearby US Consulate General and used the toilet while waiting in the vehicle.



After that, a shopper who visited the convenience store found a pistol, etc., and the store manager reported it to the police, so he collected it about 30 minutes later.



There is no evidence that it was used for pistols.



The Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters commented, "We will thoroughly store and manage equipment properly and strive to prevent recurrence."
