China News Service, Xuzhou, January 21 (Zhu Zhigeng, Cai Han, Zuo Yi) 24 years ago, Gong Mouan was drunk and molested a young girl. He followed him to his home and killed three people in a row before absconding.

On January 21, the Tongshan Police in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province informed the public that the Tongshan Police successfully cracked the accumulative homicide case and arrested the criminal suspect Gong Mou'an during the "combing and clearing" work.

On January 19, Gong Mou'an was handed over to the Xuchang police in Henan.

Currently, the case is under further processing.

On March 20, 2020, the police from the Sanbao Police Station of the Tongshan Branch of the Xuzhou Public Security Bureau found a dilapidated duck shed in the village to be very suspicious in accordance with the work requirements of “combing the net and clearing the grid” in Xinhe Village.

The owner has died long ago, but there are obvious signs of people living in the duck shed.

After questioning the villagers, the police learned that a man with a foreign accent often went to play mahjong near Xinhe Village and stayed in the duck shed after playing.

"We did not find the person with a foreign accent after our visit." said Zhang Yue, a policeman from the Sanbao Police Station. Based on the principle of being suspicious, he explained to nearby villagers that if this person reappears, he must contact him as soon as possible.

Zhang Yue received a call that night, and the villagers reported that the man hurriedly left Xinhe Village on an electric car after hearing that the police were looking for someone.

Zhang Yue believes that this person must have a problem.

However, after many visits, the villagers reported that the man never appeared again.

At about 20 o'clock on January 14, 2021, Zhang Yue, who was on duty, received an unexpected call. The man who had disappeared for nearly a year appeared and was playing mahjong in a villager's home.

After Zhang Yue reported the situation to the leader, he immediately led people to the scene and finally saw the man.

The police further examined the suspect.

The man confessed that he was Wei Moheng, a native of Neixiang County, Henan Province. He visited fish ponds in Suzhou City, Anhui Province on weekdays. He often went to Xinhe Village to find someone to play mahjong because he was adjacent.

The man said that his speech was a little nervous, and his eyes were evasive and suspicious.

Subsequently, the police called the police of Neixiang County, Henan Province.

The feedback was that Wei Moheng himself was at home and never left.

The matter was of great importance, and the police immediately took the man to the police station for further verification.

The police finally determined the man’s true identity after talking and testing, collecting information, and comparing online.

"Old Gong, you are not tired from hiding for more than 20 years!" With a loud shout from the police, the man who claimed that Wei Moheng was Gong Mo'an turned pale, and then cried with a headache.

When the mood calmed down, Gong Mou-an confessed the crime of hiding for 24 years.

On the evening of May 27, 1997, Gong Mouan happened to meet the 18-year-old girl Gong Moumin after being drunk.

Gong Mouan was unwilling to molest him and became angry. He followed him to Gong Moumin's house by drunkenness, killed Gong Moumin and two other women who had fallen asleep, and threw the corpses into the village well before fleeing.

During this period, Gong Mouan has been to Jiangsu, Anhui and other places to make odd jobs.

When working at a construction site in 2000, Gong Mouan found Wei Mouheng's lost ID card. Because he was also from Henan, he came up with the idea of "whitewashing". He has been using this false identity to show people for more than 20 years.

Gong Mou'an lowered his head and said, "Hiding in hiding for 24 years, you still found it."

On January 19th, the Public Security Bureau of Xiangcheng County, Xuchang City, Henan Province sent a letter of thanks to the policemen of the Tongshan Branch for their careful and meticulous work in "combing the net and clearing the grid."
