Barely seated in the Oval Office, Joe Biden signed a stack of executive orders unraveling the policies of his predecessor, Donald Trump.

In front of the cameras, he notably recorded the return of the United States to the Paris climate agreement and put a halt to the construction of a disputed pipeline, at the risk of damaging its relations with Canada.

The Democratic President will present to Congress next month his $ 2 trillion climate plan, which is supposed to put green measures at the heart of the US economy.

This promise arouses great hope among environmentalists, diplomats and states.
