The newly confirmed case was Zhang, male, 38 years old, from Heze City, Shandong Province; Wang, female, 40 years old, from Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, asymptomatic infection.
On January 20, the nucleic acid test results of the two were both positive. Combined with the epidemiological history, clinical manifestations and laboratory test results, the expert team confirmed that Zhang was a common case of new coronary pneumonia and his wife Wang was asymptomatic. All were transferred to designated hospitals for isolation and treatment.
As of 7:00 on January 21, 77 close contacts of the two and 305 close contacts of close contacts have been traced, and centralized isolation medical observation has been implemented.
