Danny Masterson persists and signs.

The actor, who has always defended himself on the rape charges of which he is the subject, has chosen to plead not guilty to the charges against him, according to the

Hollywood Reporter

.

In June, the

That '70s Show

star

was arrested and charged with raping three different women.

The interpreter of Steven Hyde in the cult series has been released on bail for 3.3 million dollars, and he must now appear in court on March 24.

All the acts with which he is accused would have taken place almost 20 years ago, between 2001 and 2003. A 23-year-old first woman claims that he raped her between January and December 2001, a second, 28 years old at the time of the alleged rape, says he allegedly attacked her in April 2003 and, according to the Los Angeles DA's office, another 23-year-old says the actor invited her to his home same year before sexually assaulting her.

Convinced scientologist

Danny Masterson never publicly reacted to the allegations, but his wife, actress Bijou Phillips, did not hesitate to mock on Instagram the police report relayed by Chrissie Carnell-Bixler (wife of the singer of At the Drive- In, Cedric Bixler-Zavala), one of his accusers.

Last June, the lawyer for the Scientologist actor, Tom Mesereau, announced that he was convinced that his client would be exonerated from the charges against him, already suggesting that he would plead not guilty.

“Danny Masterson and his wife are shocked that these 20-year-old allegations result in a series of charges filed today, but they, like their families, are comforted in the knowledge that the truth will eventually come to light.

People who know Mr. Masterson know these allegations are false, ”he said at the time.
