A call for witnesses was launched this Thursday by the Ariège gendarmerie, on its Facebook page.
It concerns a man who went cross-country skiing on Wednesday at the port of Lers, in the peak of Trois-Seigneurs, and who has remained untraceable since.
The soldiers do not give the identity or the age of the disappeared person, but a description.
It measures approximately 1.80 m, for a weight between 70 and 80 kg.
He has green eyes, salt and pepper hair, and a three-day-old beard.
Anyone likely to provide testimony or any other information on this disappearance is invited to contact the gendarmerie by dialing 17.
