144 new confirmed cases in 31 provinces, including 126 local cases

According to the website of the National Health Commission, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 144 new confirmed cases from 0-24 on January 20, including imported cases from abroad. 18 cases (9 in Shanghai, 5 in Tianjin, 1 in Beijing, 1 in Hubei, 1 in Guangdong, 1 in Guangxi), 126 local cases (68 in Heilongjiang, 33 in Jilin, 20 in Hebei, 2 in Beijing, Shanxi 2 cases, 1 case in Shandong); no new deaths; 5 new suspected cases, all imported cases (all in Shanghai).

　　On the same day, 19 new cases were cured and discharged, 1246 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 6 more severe cases than the previous day.

　　There are 288 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 2 severe cases) and 5 suspected cases.

A total of 4563 confirmed cases, a total of 4275 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.

　　As of 24:00 on January 20, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 1598 confirmed cases (including 68 severe cases), a total of 82468 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4635 deaths. A total of 88,701 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are 5 suspected cases.

A total of 947,364 close contacts have been traced, and 36,874 close contacts are still under medical observation.

　　31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 113 new asymptomatic infections (16 imported from abroad); 56 confirmed cases (1 imported from overseas) on the same day; 32 medical observations were lifted that day ( 13 cases imported from abroad); 844 cases of asymptomatic infection are still under medical observation (268 cases imported from abroad).

　　A total of 10,713 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Among them, 9997 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (8865 cases were discharged, and 166 died), 46 cases were discharged from the Macau Special Administrative Region (46 cases were discharged), and 870 cases were discharged from Taiwan (769 cases were discharged, 7 cases died).
