On the afternoon of January 19, the reconstruction project of Xiaogang-Zhanggongdi section of Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, 107 National Road, was carefully constructed by more than 100 engineers and technicians of China Railway 11th Bureau Group. The two rotating bridges each weighing more than 17,000 tons took time simultaneously It completed a counterclockwise rotation of 92 degrees in more than 70 minutes and successfully crossed the Beijing-Guangzhou railway line and landed steadily to the established position.

According to Liu Gao, the project manager of the Swivel Bridge across the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway on Xiaogan 107 National Road of China Railway 11th Bureau Group, the length of the left and right box beams of the swing section is 88 meters, and they are respectively built in the north and south parallel to the Beijing-Guangzhou railway line. On both sides, the entire swivel section weighs more than 17,000 tons. After the swivel is successful, the closing section will be constructed, and the construction volume is large.

The turning bridge across the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway needs to complete the turning within 2 hours within the designated "window of day" period, and the turning construction process time is limited.

In addition, safety protection pressure is huge.

The Beijing-Guangzhou Railway is a national first-class trunk railway. The line transportation is very busy, with more than 230 pairs of trains going up and down every day.

The minimum distance between the hoisting boundary of the construction and the closed railway network is 10.3 meters. The minimum distance between the brackets in the Helong section and the closed railway network is only 6.4 meters. There are also under-passing communication optical cables in the support areas on both sides of the railway.

According to local government officials, the turning bridge is the first turning bridge across the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway in Hubei Province, and it is also a controlled project for the reconstruction of the Hubei section of National Highway 107.

The successful turnaround nearly half a year ahead of schedule laid a solid foundation for the early completion of the entire 107 Hubei section of the National Highway, which will ease the traffic pressure on the Hubei section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and provide transportation support for the economic and social development of Hubei.
