A survey among 20 directors of Germany's large and small houses shows how hard the crisis is already hit the museums economically. All of them lost 60 percent of their visitors in the Corona year, more than four months of lockdown would have suggested. Some therefore vehemently call for studies to be given more attention, like the one in Barcelona, in which German researchers were also involved. A concert took place there without any minimum distance, with a mask requirement. The around 500 visitors were tested before and after - all tests remained negative. The result of the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute in collaboration with the Federal Environment Agency and hygiene experts on the concert hall in Dortmund is also striking: This study showed that infections caused by aerosol transmission in a hall with a ventilation system and mouth and nose protection can be almost ruled out.
