In the video, a British baby girl was born with 12 fingers in her hands

A British mother posted a video clip of her daughter through the "TikTok" application, because her daughter was bullied after her birth with a rare condition with 12 fingers in her hands, as reported by the British newspaper "The Sun".

Sarah Maxson confirmed that her daughter was exposed to bullying and harsh comments because she inherited from her father a condition called "polydactyly", where she was born with an extra pinky finger in each hand connected by a thin piece of tissue.

What makes the child's condition rare is the nails being on the two fingers, but without the formation of bones, which facilitates their removal surgically.

Maxon revealed during the video clip that she and the girl’s father are planning to excise the two fingers, which are allowed to be removed three months after the birth of the child, but the surgery was delayed due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, and unnecessary surgeries are allowed.

After the mother shared the video, some at first thought that her pictures were fake, but when they asked the mother if she was afraid of surgically cutting a finger, Maxson said, "Not much, because sometimes he gets stuck in things ... it looks terrifying every time I change her clothes."
