At 2:51 on January 19, the Fire Command Center of Heyuan City, Guangdong Province received an alarm stating that the living room of a residential area on Yongfu Road, Yuancheng District, the city was on fire, and 4 people were trapped at the scene.
Heyuan City Fire Command Center immediately dispatched Wenchang Road Fire Rescue Station and Hezi Road Fire Rescue Station to dispatch a total of 6 fire trucks and 31 fire commanders to the scene for disposal.
After the firefighters arrived at the scene, they saw that a household on the second floor of the community was continuously emitting thick smoke. Two girls and a woman were standing at the window calling for help.
After understanding the situation at the scene, the fire commander immediately divided the rescue force into four groups: internal attack, search and rescue, evacuation and alert, and quickly carried out rescue operations.
When the internal attack team was conducting an internal attack, the room was full of thick smoke, it was pitch black, and the temperature was very high. The internal attackers faced the thick smoke and braved the high temperature and quickly discharged water to control the fire; the search and rescue team and the evacuation team carried out the search and rescue and evacuation work .
The fire at the scene was quickly brought under control, and the search and rescue team worked with the police to rescue two girls, an adult woman, and a boy from the burning house.
When the house caught fire, the boy inhaled a lot of smoke and lost consciousness while sleeping in the house. The firefighters immediately sent him to an ambulance to be rescued by medical staff.
At the same time, the evacuation team evacuated 6 surrounding residents to a safe area.
Later, after firefighters used the smoke exhauster to exhaust the residual smoke in the room, after careful inspection, the on-site disposal was completed.
It is understood that the unconscious boy has no major problems due to timely treatment.
