Those who can receive the prize this year are Splendor by Stefan Lindberg, Caesaria by Hanna Nordenhök, Dagarna, dagarna, dagarna by Tone Schunnesson and Tritonus by Kjell Westö.

"The nominated books are both an exciting and challenging mix, which I hope and believe can arouse sharp thoughts and great feelings in our selected readers," says Marie Lundström, who will lead the award ceremony on April 23, in a press release.

The prize money is SEK 30,000 and the winner is chosen by a listening jury, which consists of four book circles.
