At 14:00 on January 10, an explosion occurred at the Wucalong Gold Mine in Qixia, Shandong. The accident caused 22 workers to be trapped underground.

On January 17, the No. 3 borehole was penetrated.

After the intensive operation of lowering the casing, on the evening of the 17th, the No. 3 drill hole began to put supplies. The lead sinker took the traction rope and slowly lowered it. There were flashlights, nutrient solutions, medicines, paper and pencils.

At around 23:40 that night, rescuers slowly pulled out the wire rope and found that all the supplies had been taken away, and a note was sent back.

There are more than a hundred words on the slip of paper, on which are written important information down the well.

"We have 22 people in the underground mine, 11 in the fifth middle section, 1 in the sixth middle section, 4 people were injured, and 10 others are unclear."

"Now everyone is suffering from severe physical exhaustion and is in urgent need of stomach medicine, analgesics, medical tape, and topical anti-inflammatory drugs. Another three people have high blood pressure and are in urgent need of antihypertensive drugs. There are two kinds of drugs in my car. Please bring them down."

"Because the underground air is not circulating and the concentration of gun smoke is high, the water in the underground is particularly large now. Hope that the rescue will continue, we have hope, thank you!
