At 14:00 on January 10, an explosion occurred at the Wucalong Gold Mine in Qixia, Shandong. The accident caused 22 workers to be trapped underground.
Today (17th) at 1:56 pm, the No. 3 borehole was penetrated.
After the intensive operation of lowering the casing, at around 22:12 on January 17, the No. 3 drill hole began to put supplies, with a lead sinker carrying a tow rope, and slowly lowering it, including a flashlight, nutrient solution, medicine, paper and pen.
At about 22:46, when the supplies were put to the end, someone obviously pulled the wire rope!
After waiting for about 35 minutes, he slowly pulled out the wire rope and found that all the supplies had been taken away, and a note was sent back, saying that 22 people were all there.
