On January 16, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control.
It was announced at the meeting that after days of joint efforts, as of January 15, 266 collection points in Yuci District, Jinzhong City had completed the collection of samples from all the population of 773,339 in the district; by 17:15 on the 16th, all Complete the nucleic acid test, the test results are all negative.
On January 15th, Yuci District investigated the two imported asymptomatic infections in Hebei Province (two couples) and one confirmed case imported from Hebei Province. Gaocun and its surrounding areas, where the three people rented their apartment, shared a total of 6981 people took the second round of nucleic acid sampling. On January 16, 2177 people in the Gaocun area tested negative, and the others are being tested.
