Ilse DeLange is very happy with her participation in the German dance program

Let's Dance.

The singer announced this on Instagram.

DeLange (43) says she is very enthusiastic about her participation.

"It's so different from anything I've done in my life so far, but my good friends will know how much I've always loved dancing," she writes with a photo showing her dancing as a child.

It won't be like the way she normally dances backstage, DeLange jokes.

"Learning from professionals is such a gift, I couldn't miss this opportunity."

The German

Let's Dance

resembles the English program

Strictly Come Dancing, on

which the Dutch version

Dancing With the Stars

is also based.

In all these shows, celebrities are paired with professional dancers to master various dance styles.

The fourteenth season starts on February 26.

DeLange is not the first Dutch person to participate in the program.

Loiza Lamers, Bastiaan Ragas and Sylvie Meis previously participated.

Meis also took care of the presentation from seasons four to ten.
