On January 16, the design team of the China Railway Fifth Institute completed the on-site verification of the Miyun Station and Huairou South Station of the Beijing-Shenzhen Passenger Dedicated Line (Beijing-Chengde Section) before opening to traffic. The Beijing-Harbin high-speed rail line has entered the "countdown".

The Beijing-Harbin high-speed rail is an important part of the “one vertical” Beijing-Harbin-Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao corridor of China's “eight vertical and eight horizontal” high-speed railway network. The Beijing-Chengde section is the last section of the corridor and will be opened in late January.

By then, in addition to the "one vertical" of China's high-speed rail network, people from Beijing and Hebei can enjoy the "high-speed rail commuting" bonus when visiting tourist areas in the suburbs of Beijing.

The design theme of Miyun Station is "Kyoto mountains and rivers, bright Miyun", inspired by the shape of the inverted trapezoidal dam of Miyun Reservoir, using various materials such as glass curtain wall and aluminum square to create a "sparkling" water surface effect.
