Mary McCartney will follow in her father's footsteps by dedicating a documentary to the famous Abbey Road studios which gave their name to the Beatles' eleventh album.

The project, titled

If The Walls Could Sing,

is supported by Mercury Studios and Universal Music Group which, according to Deadline, called on John Battsek and his company Ventureland to get down to producing the footage.

In addition, Marc Robinson of Universal Music UK, and Alice Webb, patron of Mercury Studios, will share the executive production.

90 years

Mary McCartney's film will be a first since Abbey Road had never opened its doors to a film crew.

In addition, the documentary will crown a special year for the studios which celebrated their 90th anniversary last November.

“Some of my earliest childhood memories take place in Abbey Road.

It's been a long time since I've wanted to tell the story of this historic place and I couldn't collaborate with a better team than John (Battsek) and Mercury Studios to realize this creative ambition, ”said Paul McCartney's daughter in a communicated.
