Fukushima Prefecture announced on the 16th that it was confirmed that 37 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
Seven new infections were confirmed in Iwaki City, six in Aizuwakamatsu, Koriyama, and Fukushima, three in Shirakawa, two in Kitakata and Minamisoma, Sukagawa, and Soma. There is one person each in the city, Inayocho, Aizu Misatocho Minamisomacho.
The number of infected people in the prefecture reached 1410 for 46 consecutive days.
