The Wind and Rain Corridor Bridge is located in the ancient town of Zhuoshui, Chongqing. The bridge is 751 meters long. It is divided into upper and lower floors. The first floor can be used for tourists and citizens, and the second floor can be used for viewing and entertainment. It spans the Apeng River and is 303 meters long and wide. 5 meters, known as the world's first covered bridge.

  Recently, the Zhuoshui Scenic Spot in Qianjiang District has been promoted to a national 5A tourist attraction. The ancient town of Zhuoshui originated from the end of the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Pengjiang, the building materials are interspersed and connected by tenon and mortise, straight sleeves are slanted through, and the structure is firm and precise. The bridge is built with three-story pavilions, with about a hundred carved wooden windows on both sides, and red lacquered benches are placed inside the bridge. There is a pavilion on the bridge, the scenery is very charming. It complements the mountains, water and houses, and supports each other.

  In 2013, the main wooden structure burned down due to a fire.

It was rebuilt in 2014 and reopened to the public in 2015. After the reconstruction, the Wind and Rain Covered Bridge is still infinitely attractive and has been recognized as the world's first covered bridge by the World Covered Bridge Association.

Over the years, the local area has added night lights to the bridge and surrounding buildings, consisting of LED strips, spotlights and red lanterns.

Recently, the reporter saw more than 5,000 night-view lighting in the ancient town, entrusting the entire covered bridge beautifully.

As the ancient town of Zhuoshui was promoted to a national 5A-level scenic spot, it also attracted a large number of citizens to come here.
