Bangui is under curfew from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The Central African capital suffered attacks by CPC rebels on Monday, the first since the coalition was formed last December.

The CPC has reached the gates of Bangui despite the presence, alongside the Central African armed forces, the United Nations mission Minusca, Russians and Rwandans.

Calm was certainly restored yesterday Thursday, but how to interpret these attacks, why are they taking place at the moment?

What are the rebels looking for?
