China News Service, January 15 According to the website of the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, at 0-24 o'clock on January 14th, 1 new local asymptomatic infection was reported in Guangdong Province, which was reported in Dongguan and discovered through close investigation.

  There were 3 newly imported confirmed cases in the province, all of which were reported from Guangzhou, from the United States, Ghana and Maldives.

There were 4 newly imported asymptomatic infections from abroad, 2 cases were reported in Guangzhou, from India and Malaysia; 1 case was reported in Foshan, from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and 1 case was reported in Qingyuan, from Niger.

All of the above were found at the port of entry or isolation point, and were isolated for observation after entry.

1 new case was discharged.

  As of 24:00 on January 14, a total of 2084 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia (688 imported from abroad) have been reported across the province.

45 cases are currently in hospital.
