In April 2020, a woman made a real-name report to Mianyang Dongchen International School's Deputy Principal Wu XX. She sexually harassed female students when she was a class teacher more than 10 years ago. The Fucheng District People’s Procuratorate charged the defendant Wu Moumou with forced indecency and child molestation in the Mianfujian Five Criminal Prosecution (2020) No. 41 indictment, and filed a public prosecution with the Fucheng District People’s Court on September 18, 2020. Due to the personal privacy of the victim, the Fucheng District People's Court heard the case in private on November 4, 2020.
On January 13, 2021, the People’s Court of Fucheng District issued a sentence on this case, convicting the defendant Wu Moumou for compulsory indecency, sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment, and sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment for the crime of child molestation, and the sum total of ten imprisonment. In five years, it was decided to execute a 14-year imprisonment; the defendant Wu Moumou was prohibited from engaging in education and related occupations within five years from the date of execution of the sentence or the date of parole.
