On January 13, the reporter visited the archaeological excavation site of the Jinzhongdu site in Fengtai District, Beijing.

Recently, the archaeological work of the Jinzhongdu city wall site has achieved important results. For the first time, the outer city wall system such as the moat, city wall, horse face, and Shuncheng streets and roads of the outer city of Jinzhongdu has been discovered.

Jinzhong is the beginning of the capital of Beijing, and it occupies an important position in the history of the development of ancient Chinese capital. This archaeological discovery provides important archaeological data for the restoration of the structural layout and urban appearance of Jinzhong.
