The bridge has also set multiple records in the history of similar bridge construction in the world.

  The entire Maanshan Yangtze River Bridge has some of the best in the world. The first one is our tower height, and the four-meter large-diameter bored pile. On the side of the No. 4 pier tower, we use a four-meter-diameter deep water drill. The hole pile foundation, and then our main tower, the main tower is the tallest main tower inside the three-tower cable-stayed bridge in the world.

  [Explanation] It is understood that the height of the middle tower of the Maanshan Yangtze River Highway Bridge is 345 meters. If converted to a building with a height of 3 meters, it is equivalent to a height of 115 floors. The main bridge adopts a steel beam structure with a single span of 1120 meters and a double-span continuous span. At 2,240 meters, it is currently the world's largest span cable-stayed bridge with three towers.

  The steel girder of our Maanshan Highway and Railway Bridge should be the longest continuous steel girder in the world. The weight of a single section may reach up to 1,620 tons. This also puts forward higher requirements for our steel girder erection and steel girder equipment. , Is also a major difficulty in our construction.

  [Explanation] According to reports, the upper road of the Maanshan Yangtze River Highway Bridge is a two-way six-lane urban expressway with a speed of 80 kilometers per hour; the lower layer is a two-line Chaoma intercity railway with a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour, and the two-line intercity railway standard reserved Railway, with a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour.

In order to implement the requirements for the protection of the Yangtze River and reduce the impact of bridge construction on flood control, the ecological environment and the Yangtze River channel, China Railway Bridge Bureau adopted a series of new materials, new equipment, new techniques, and new technologies to overcome construction problems.

The second is that during our foundation construction, we use an oversized double-walled steel cofferdam with a wall thickness of 2.5 meters for construction.

In addition, in our steel tower, when a part of the steel tower is constructed on top of our tower, we use a steel tower crane of 12,000 tons meters, such a super equipment, to carry out its super large tonnage and super high steel. Structure lifting.

  [Explanation] It is understood that the Chaoma Intercity Railway is an important part of the national “eight vertical and eight horizontal” high-speed rail network between Hefei and Shanghai, and the first intercity railway project jointly built by provinces and cities in Anhui Province. An important transportation channel, after it is completed, it will strengthen the transportation link between the core area of ​​the Yangtze River Delta and the Hefei Metropolitan Circle, which is of great significance.
