The report stated that after receiving the information, the Education Bureau of Wuhan Jianghan District attached great importance to it and immediately verified it.
After verification, in the afternoon, Xia, the head teacher of the sixth grade (8) class of Beihu Elementary School, disciplined nearly 10 students in the classroom and beat them with a ruler due to the fact that the students went crazy in class near the final exam and did not abide by classroom discipline. The District Education Bureau immediately set up a working group composed of the Bureau’s Disciplinary Inspection Department, Primary Education Section, and Personnel Section, stationed in Beihu Primary School to further investigate the matter.
