Will

our tears flow as much in front of

I promise you

as in front of

This Is Us

 ?

This is the question that arises at a time when TF1 announced the launch of the French adaptation of the NBC series.

To discover the blue-white-red version of the Pearson family, you will have to tune in to the front page on Monday, February 1 from 9:05 p.m.

The stories of two fictions are obviously similar, with a few small details.

The parents are named Paul and Florence and are awaiting the birth of their triplets.

“For their part, Mathis, a fulfilled trader has just found his biological father but hesitates to meet him.

Maud, an overweight young woman, can not lose weight and seeks meaning in her life and Michaël, footballer at OM, sees his career halted after an unfortunate incident ”, indicates the synopsis.

Twelve episodes shot between Paris and La Rochelle

Casting side, TF1 called on faces known to the general public to embody the parents.

Camille Lou (already seen in

Le Bazar de la Charité

) will play the role of the mother and Hugo Becker (

Black Baron

,

Osmosis

,

In the service of France

) that of the father.

As adults, the three children will be played by Marilou Berry (

Joséphine

,

Vilaine

), Guillaume Labbé (

Plan Cœur

) and Narcisse Mame (

Trauma

).

The channel is playing big with the adaptation of

This Is Us

since twelve episodes are scheduled for the program.

The filming took place between Paris and the La Rochelle region, and the nods to French culture of the 1970s, 80s and 90s should be plentiful.

Songs by Alain Souchon, Jean-Jacques Goldman or Renaud, archives of TV shows or advertisements, so many elements that will perhaps plunge viewers into nostalgia for this era.
