Yamaguchi Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that a total of 10 men and women in their teens to 60s living in Iwakuni City and Sanyo Onoda City are infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Yamaguchi Prefecture to 729.
Yamaguchi Prefecture also announced that a woman in her 80s who had been hospitalized at a medical institution in the prefecture died on the 12th.
After being infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture, four people died.
