Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 12th that a total of 26 new people in the prefecture have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The prefecture also announced that a total of two people, a woman in her 80s in Nara City and a man in her 80s in Kammaki Town, had been confirmed dead.
A total of 2,370 people have been confirmed to be infected in Nara Prefecture.
