Kumamoto City announced that a total of nine men and women in their 20s and 90s have been found to be infected with the new coronavirus.
Eight of them are related to "Suizenji-Toya Hospital" where clusters are occurring.
As a result, a total of 2517 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
