For several weeks, Eric Antoine has been offering "Connexions", a new show available online several evenings a week.

Guest of Anne Roumanoff's show "It feels good" Tuesday, the magician details the many unexpected advantages of this new way of addressing the public.

INTERVIEW

Despite the new season of

France Has Incredible Talent,

the launch of

Lego Masters

and his hospital tours, Eric Antoine felt the lack of the stage.

Despite the health crisis, he found, thanks to the Internet, a way to resume his "monstrous scam" of magic.

For the past month, Eric Antoine has been performing on Zoom with his new show

Connexions

.

An operation to which he finds many advantages, as he told Tuesday in

It feels good.

The principle is simple: Eric Antoine performs in a real-false apartment, in front of spectator screens with whom he can interact.

For 25 euros, a household can have access to 1h15 of live show.

"Some spectators have already returned", rejoices Eric Antoine.

According to him, digital allows more proximity between the artist and the spectators.

"There is an interaction with the public which is stronger," he said.

"On stage, we are in the light, the audience is in the dark, we are upstairs, people are downstairs… This is very different."

"We recreate a party with the public"

But, according to the magician, his show also stands out from the rest of the digital shows.

"All the spectators interact with me, I really enter each of their homes," he promises.

"So I see for example the old wallpaper, you can well imagine the valves that come with".

Before the show, Eric Antoine also asks the public to prepare some objects that allow them to have these exchanges, and to dress according to the theme "Be crazy".

“The idea is to create a party with the public,” explains Erica Antoine.

After-sales service for the show

After the show Eric Antoine explains receiving dozens of messages on social networks.

But he pushed the principle of interactivity even further.

"We send a satisfaction survey, so for the first time we have real feedback on what people thought," he explains.

In a month and more than thirty performances,

Connexions

already has more than 40,000 spectators and Eric Antoine is certain that this show will change the way he is on stage in the future.
