Behind the scenes of

Tchao Pantin

For its first two issues,

Légende

was interested in Zinedine Zidane and Angela Davis.

Editor-in-chief François Vey explains why the magazine is interested this time in Coluche.

"Each time we look for a personality who can say something about our time and who somewhat embodies the concerns of the moment," he explains.

Between the 40 years of his "candidacy for candidacy" and the annual campaign of the Resto du Cœur, he was doubly in the news.

The magazine had to sort through all the adventures in the comedian's life, with the choice to give pride of place to photography.

"We have quite exceptional photo documents, and in particular the shooting photos of

Tchao Patin

", reveals François Vey.

The director of photography of the film with the five Caesars tells the magazine behind the scenes of the shooting.

Testimonials from relatives

Maryse Gildas, who was Coluche's colleague on Europe 1 and her friend, also testifies in the magazine.

She reveals an anecdote that tells of the tender face of the clown in overalls.

While they are on vacation in Mauritius, Coluche insists that she join him on the balcony of his room.

"I tell him I can't and he says' You're doing well, you're coming," she recalls.

The two friends therefore watch the sun go down together, without either of them saying a word.

"At the end, I dare to ask her 'But why are you calling me here?'", She explains.

"I didn't want to watch him alone," he replied with emotion.

Already on newsstands,

Légende

also questions the Coluche heritage on the political level, after the movement of yellow vests.
