In 1985, Pernilla Wahlgren broke through with Piccadilly Circus at the Melodifestivalen.
Since then, she has competed four more times, but this year she is trying to be on the host side of the program.
- It feels really, really fun.
The melody festival has meant so much to me, that was where I broke through.
I usually joke and say that this is my only hit.

Collaborated earlier in the Christmas calendar
She hosts the program together with Per Andersson, who she has worked with in the Christmas calendar Panik in the Santa workshop in 2019.
- It is very fun, we worked incredibly well when we made the Christmas calendar earlier.
He is also close friends with my little brother Linus, so it feels spotless.
