On January 9, the archaeological excavation site at Xiaozhouluo site at Luozi National City Ruins (Luocheng Ruins).

The archaeological excavation and expert on-site meeting of Luozi National City Ruins (Luocheng Ruins) was held on January 9 in Quyuan Management District, Yueyang City, Hunan.

Experts at the meeting believed that a large number of remains from the middle of the Spring and Autumn Period or even earlier were unearthed at the Xiaozhouluo site in the northern part of the Luocheng site, which belong to the earliest batch of typical Chu cultural remains discovered in Hunan.

This fully shows that the Luocheng site is one of the earliest known places where the typical Chu culture entered Hunan, which can be said to be the starting point for Hunan to be officially included in the governance system of the Central Plains Dynasty.
