Wilfand spoke about the Arctic air approaching a number of regions

This will be connected with the opening of the gates for the entry of the northern air masses.

Until now, the truly arctic air practically did not reach the center of Russia.

Now the air of the Arctic will finally start flowing in, ”Vilfand is quoted by TASS.

According to the forecaster, cooling will begin on January 9 and will be widespread, and by January 10 the temperature will reach its climatic norm.

He noted that the temperature "will decrease in St. Petersburg, and in Arkhangelsk, and in Komi, and in Novgorod, and in Tver, and in Smolensk, and in Ivanovo."
