According to news from the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology on January 9, archaeologists unearthed two tombs from the Tang Dynasty in Konggang New City, Xixian New District. Some rare images of horses and hounds are found on murals such as the painting of the Huren horse training.

According to Li Ming, a researcher at the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology, one of the tombs is a 5-yard well single-chamber brick tomb with mural paintings on the wall, which is well preserved.

The other tomb is a 5-tianjing earth cave tomb. There are murals on the east and west walls of the corridor and the four walls of the tomb, which are painted directly after painting the raw soil wall with white ash.

Among them, the east wall of the tomb is a picture of music and dance. In the middle of the picture, there are two dancers standing on the round felt. On both sides are bands, which have the typical style of the Tang Dynasty.

According to the epitaph, the owners of the tomb are Yang Zhishi and the Pangda family.

This is the mural in the tomb of Kangshanda of Tang Dynasty (photographed on December 15, 2020).
