Aomori Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that a total of five people have been newly infected with the new coronavirus in Aomori City and the jurisdiction of the Kamijusan Health Center.
The total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 559, including those who have already recovered and those who have died.
