The High Authority for Health gives its approval to the use of the Moderna vaccine in France this Friday, less than 24 hours after its authorization by the European Medicines Agency and its approval by the European Commission.

It "can be used in people 18 years of age and over, including older people because of its effectiveness and its overall satisfactory tolerance profile," said the HAS on Friday.

In France, around 45,000 people have been vaccinated in the past five days with the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine, which until then was the only one authorized in France.
