A truck driver, of Bulgarian origin, who was passing through France for his work, pocketed 500,000 euros in Cash, a scratch card.
He had stopped in a mini-market in Saint-Priest, near Lyon (Rhône) when he decided to buy a ticket,

The man had paid 5 euros initially.
A bet that finally brought him 100,000 times more.
A tidy sum compared to Bulgarian salaries which average 280 euros per month.
And don't think the carrier is a regular at the lottery.
This is the first time he bought a scratch game, specifies the regional daily which questioned the lucky one.
The latter even almost threw his ticket in the trash.
It was good for him to change his mind.
