Donald Trump's term is coming to an end and for those awaiting a presidential pardon from the American head of state (who already pardoned some of his relatives last December), time is running out.
This is particularly the case for Lil Wayne.
The rapper posed alongside Donald Trump during the presidential campaign for one of those tense “photo ops” of which the former reality TV star has the secret.
Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he's done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership.

recently pleaded guilty to carrying an illegal weapon.
The judgment is due on January 28 and he faces up to 10 years in prison.
He is therefore counting on Donald Trump to save him, even if according to Bloomberg, the president has not yet made his decision.

Among the other artists who could benefit from a presidential pardon: Kodak Black.
The rapper was sentenced in 2019 to 46 months in prison for lying on the forms while buying guns that were later found at crime scenes, according to the

.
Note that these two rappers were judged in Florida, a state much appreciated by the former presenter of
The Apprentice
who spent a good part of his presidency at Mar-a-Lago, the golf course he owns in Palm Beach.
Florida also voted a majority for Donald Trump in the election.
Bloomberg also affirms that Donald Trump intends to pardon in a "preventive" way certain relatives, who have not yet been indicted or convicted but could be once his presidency is over, such as his advisor Stephen Miller or his daughter Ivanka Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner.
And of course, he could even decide to pardon himself, the publication claims.
Donald Trump will announce who will be entitled to his presidential pardon on January 19, on the eve of his departure from the White House.
