The High Authority for Health has given the green light for the use of a second vaccine in France, that of Moderna. 

The vaccine against Covid-19 developed by Moderna "can be used in people 18 years of age and over, including the elderly because of its effectiveness and its overall satisfactory tolerance profile", said the High Authority for Health on Friday. (HAS).

This vaccine, which received marketing authorization from the European Union on Wednesday, thus becomes the second to be used in France after that of BioNTech / Pfizer, which had the green light from the HAS on December 24.
