During an update on the coronavirus epidemic on Thursday, the Prime Minister announced bad news to restaurateurs.

As they feared, they will not be able to reopen their doors in January and will have to wait at least until mid-February.

The Prime Minister, Jean Castex, spoke this Thursday at 6 p.m. for a new progress report on the Covid-19 health crisis in France.

While the epidemic situation remains worrying, restaurant owners will be forced to remain closed.

"Unfortunately the prospect of reopening in January is not realistic and will be postponed at least until mid-February," said Jean Castex.
