This is a subject that was close to the heart of the screenwriter of this TV movie, Olga Vincent.

She herself was confronted with her daughter's runaway.

But she did not settle for her own experience to write fiction.

“I worked with Xavier Pommereau, who is a psychiatrist who has worked extensively on adolescents in difficulty,” she explains.

"I also went to the miners' brigade, I interviewed them."

"A teenager's runaway is a blow to a family"

But Olga Vincent did not want to forget the strong emotions inherent in this type of experience.

"I did not write this fiction by looking at the figures. There are certainly things which are realistic, and which can give useful information to people who do not know the subject", she adds.

"But what didn't interest was to show how the running away of a teenager is a blow to a family. His endangerment is that of each of the relatives, everyone is affected."

As part of a continuous evening,

La Fugue

will be followed by a debate entitled "Ados en fugue, le combat des parents" and hosted by Julian Bugier from 10:35 pm.
