Saitama Prefectural Police arrested a 43-year-old office worker on suspicion of attempted fraud in an attempt to forge the hit stick of the ice cream "Gari-Gari-kun" and deceive the prize of the popular "Pokemon" in games and animation. ..

The person who was arrested was Takashi Ohno (43), an office worker in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture.

According to the police, in early November last year, 25 hit sticks of the ice cream "Gari-Gari-kun" were forged and sent to the manufacturer in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture, to deceive the prize of the popular "Pocket Monster" in games and animation. Attempts are suspected of attempted fraud.

"Gari-Gari-kun", the target of the campaign, was sold for a limited time from June to July last year, and you can get one "Pocket Monster" card not for sale for each stick.

There was a consultation from the manufacturer that "a large number of hit sticks arrived from the same person," and the police were investigating.

Since the forged hit stick was branded with letters and logos and was elaborately made, the police decided to investigate the technique in detail.
