On January 5, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued a blue cold wave warning.

After three days of "rest" during the New Year's Day holiday, the cold wave hit again.

Affected by the strong cold air, from the night of the 5th to the 8th, the temperature in central and eastern China will generally drop by 6 to 8°C. Among them, the temperature in parts of western North China, eastern Huanghuai, eastern Jianghuai and eastern Jiangnan will drop by 10 ℃ above; after cooling, the 0℃ line of the lowest temperature will press south to southern Jiangnan to northern South China, and the -10℃ line will press south to the Qinling to the east of Jianghuai.

Fang Chong, chief forecaster of the Central Meteorological Observatory, said that since the last cold wave has just passed, the temperature has not yet fully recovered.

Although the cold wave is not as cool as the last time, the body temperature is lower.

After the cold wave, the lowest temperature in parts of the southern part of Northeast China, North China, Huanghuai and other places will hit a record low since winter.

It is expected that before January 12, the temperature in most parts of China will be 1-2℃ lower than normal, and the temperature will be 3-4℃ lower in some parts of the north.

Remind the public to pay attention to the weather forecast and take precautions in advance.
