Light snowfall in western Xinjiang, southwestern Tibet, southern Liaoning and other places
From 08:00 on the 4th to 06:00 on the 5th, light snow fell in southern Xinjiang, western Tibet, southern Liaoning, and moderate snow in Geelong, Tibet and Dalian, Liaoning; this (5th) morning, western and southern Sichuan, and northwestern Guizhou Heavy fog appeared locally in the province, southern Yunnan and other places.
At 5:00 today, compared to 5:00 yesterday, 4-6℃ cooling occurred in northern Xinjiang, central and western Gansu, southern Ningxia, northern Shaanxi, western Inner Mongolia, central and northern Shanxi, central Hebei, northern Beijing, and central and southern Liaoning. 8～10℃.
Beijing is also a cold scene. The highest temperature today is only -2°C, and the lowest temperature at night is -11°C. In the next two days, Beijing will usher in a new strong cold air, and the strong wind and cooling weather will "attack" again.
At 6:15 in the morning, the Beijing Southern Suburb Observatory detected a temperature of -9.6℃, and most of the temperature in the urban area was between -9℃ and -11℃.
According to the latest forecast issued by the Beijing Meteorological Observatory, today, during the day, Beijing will be fine, with north-south breeze level 2 and 3, and the maximum temperature is -2℃; at night, partly cloudy, south breeze level 2 will be changed to north wind level 4, the minimum temperature- 11°C.
In addition, affected by the strong cold air, there will still be strong winds in Beijing in the next two days to cool down the weather. The wind-cold effect will be significant, and the body temperature will be "to the bones". The citizens need to take measures to prevent wind, cold, and freeze in advance.
Temperatures in most parts of my country are lower than normal
It is expected that from 20: 00 on the 5th to 20: 00 on the 8th, affected by the strong cold air, the temperature in the central and eastern regions of my country will generally drop by 6 to 8 °C, including parts of western North China, eastern Huanghuai, eastern Jianghuai, and eastern Jiangnan. The temperature drop can reach more than 10°C; after the temperature drop, the 0°C line of the lowest temperature will press south from southern Jiangnan to northern South China, and the -10°C line will press south from Qinling to eastern Jianghuai.
There will be northerly winds of magnitude 4 to 6 and gusts of magnitude 7 to 9 in the Yangtze River Basin and its north.
The precipitation during this cold wave is relatively small. It is expected that there will be moderate to heavy snow and local blizzards in southwestern Xinjiang, western Tibet, and southern Qinghai from the 5th to 6th.
From the 6th to the 7th, there was light snow or sleet in southern Gansu, southern Shaanxi, western Hubei and eastern Southwest China, and most of the southern part of the Yangtze River. There was light rain in southeastern Jiangnan and southern China.
Meteorological experts reminded that after cooling, the minimum temperature in parts of the southern part of Northeast China, North China, Huanghuai and other places will hit a new low since winter; in addition, under the continuous suppression of cold air, it is expected that the temperature in most parts of my country will be higher before January 12. Over the same period of the year, it is 1～2℃ low, 3～4℃ low in some parts of the north, and rainy and snowy weather in the east of southwest.
The public needs to add clothes in time, reduce unnecessary travel arrangements, and prevent the adverse effects of gale.
